The challenge
A global energy and power-technology company needed a repeatable, auditable way to provision, wipe, re-image and diagnose IT equipment on demand in West Africa, to the exact process of the global ITAM/ITAD firm running its device-as-a-service programme — with certified data destruction and clean evidence at every step.
What we did
We provided certified field engineers to run the device lifecycle on dispatch: zero-touch-style pre-provisioning (enrolling machines into the client's device-management tenant with the correct group tagging), certified data wiping using approved software with a wiping certificate produced for every device, staging and imaging from approved images, and full physical and functional diagnostics — including the evidence needed to raise hardware warranty claims. The team also carried data-centre rack-and-stack capability for equipment-room work. This is the decommission discipline behind our certified ITAD and IMACD services.
How we delivered
Every task ran against a documented runbook and was logged, closed and evidenced in the integrator's ticketing system, measured monthly against next-business-day service levels with formal service-level governance. A short stabilisation period at go-live let the process bed in before targets applied.
The outcome
The client got a local partner that executes a global lifecycle process to the letter, with per-device certificates and an auditable trail — turning ad-hoc field work into a governed, repeatable service. In the initial phase we processed 28 devices at 100% SLA attainment, each with its own data-destruction certificate.
